Steve Della Maggiora likes to play music. He was fortunate to have parents who gave him accordion lessons as a child. After graduating from Napa High he taught himself guitar, bass, and keyboards. He worked as an diorama artist and designer for Ben Sharpsteen in Calistoga, helping to make the Sharpsteen Museum in the 70s and 80s. That was followed by a stint as a sign painter on the Ross Graphics Team. In the 90s Steve began painting murals, including the first in downtown Napa and the Petaluma Heritage Mural on Washington Street. Each year he does portraits all night for Napa Grad Night. http://myspace.com/stevetheartguy
Tom Overton is a musical institution in Napa Valley. He played music in
the first Yountville Days Parade back in the 70s, and is frequently
either performing at or running open mics. He plays guitar and
keyboards and sings. Tom knows hundreds of songs, and is especially
good at Elton John, Van Morrison, and John Prine tunes, and novelty
tunes of every description. He is a real entertainer.
