Kurt Huget

Sept 6 at 10:30am - 12:30pm

Kurt Huget has been a mainstay of the Bay Area music scene for many years,
working professionally as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist,
and as a volunteer performer for the Bread & Roses organization. His
alt-country and roots-rock band, Moonlight Rodeo, has released three CDs of
all-original material. Their second CD featured songs that Kurt co-wrote
with Robert Hunter, legendary lyricist for the Grateful Dead. The latest
release, "Mississippi Sunset," covers a broad spectrum of country, blues,
and jam-band material, and features special guests who have performed and
recorded with Janis Joplin, Muddy Waters, Grateful Dead, Sly Stone,
Quicksilver Messenger Service, Steve Miller Band, Sir Douglas Quintet, and
Bob Dylan.
