Jan’s debut album, "Sonoma County Rose" expresses a gentle soulfulness that is enhanced beautifully by some of the San Francisco Bay Area's most talented and creative musicians: David Nelson, guitar; Barry Sless, pedal steel; Steve Shufton, piano/organ; Chuck Prophet, guitar; Pat Campbell, bass/Dobro and Paul Revelli, drums. Produced by Bill Cutler.
Her seven original songs are heartfelt and honest and it’s evident through her lyrics that she has something to say. She covers three songs written by the musicians who have influenced her the most: Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, and Bob Dylan.
