Giovanni Mandala, a native New Yorker, raised in Los Angeles-spent much of his life in the L.A/Hollywood/So. California music scene in various cover bands including: The Brotherhood - Boy and the Innocents- 'Skyline' and 'Kahlua'. Later he played in some of L.A.’s most prestigious clubs such as the “Whiskey,” the Roxy, and the “Palladium.”

At just 19 years old Giovanni performed in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe with
“Von Ryan’s Express,” a 12 piece Rock n’ Roll band. He moved on to play backup guitar for the Coasters, Drifters, Olympics, The Sherills and Johnny “Guitar” Watson. He spent time as an in-demand studio guitarist, including recordings with Danny Diaz, Danny Woods, White Heat, and Fourplay. Over the past three decades, he has played to rave reviews in venues that featured Rock, Jazz, Latin, and R&B and has opened for major acts like “War, and “Brain Augers Oblivion Express“.

Seasoned by a rich array of life experience, Giovanni emerges today as a gifted and versatile songwriter and performer. His unique Acoustic and Electric guitar style with layered “Chordal” undertones and pulsating bass lines makes for an exciting, innovative, and stunningly evocative sound. He has written and performed over 100 original compositions that touch the soul and ignite the imagination.
