I have been singing and writing songs since her childhood and got my first guitar for my 13th birthday.  After a decade of letting my music take a back seat in my life, I was compelled to bring it back to the forefront and have been writing a lot and performing a little the past couple of years.  The songs that I write run the gamut from politically inspired topical lyrics to stories and love songs.  I consider myself to be primarily a songwriter and mainly sing my own songs - in a country style.  I co-host an Open Mic at "Club M"  monthly and appreciate the sense of community that music brings into my life.
